Mr James Leggate is a Consultant Neurosurgeon based at Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust.

Mr Leggate trained in oncology in London, Edinburgh and Marseille. His practice has encompassed Paediatric as well as Adult oncology He now concentrates on Adult Cranial and Spinal oncology. He is the Senior Oncology Neurosurgeon in the Greater Manchester Neurosciences Centre. He is the Lead Neurosurgeon for Stereotactic Radiosurgery having established the service in Manchester in 2012.
